Reign Girls Softball Academy was founded by a team of passionate coaches turned friends, united by a shared purpose: to build something bigger than the game. After meeting and coaching together at Northwest Girls Softball, our core group of seven—Erin Carter, Chelsey Catron, Cheyenne McNair, Marlie Novick, Brandon Catron, Kode Mwirigi, and Kittrell Carter—recognized the need for a deeper, more intentional way to support the girls we coached as they transitioned from recreational ball to competitive travel softball.
In May 2025, Reign Softball Academy officially launched, and by summer’s end, we had hosted four free training sessions that served more than 70 girls from ages 6U to 16U. But we didn’t stop there.
What makes Reign different is our dual commitment:
We offer a public-facing academy open to all athletes who want to develop their skills, grow their confidence, and prepare for the next level.
And we offer a private, comprehensive training program tailored specifically to our competitive Reign travel teams, helping each player advance with intention, structure, and high-level mentorship.
At Reign, it’s more than just fielding winning teams—it’s about developing well-rounded athletes. We are on a mission to bridge the gap between rec ball and elite travel softball by creating a space where every girl has a fair shot, a clear path, and a strong support system.
We believe in hard work, integrity, and sisterhood. We’re raising up the next generation of strong, confident athletes—on and off the field. Whether you're stepping onto the diamond for the first time or chasing national-level competition, there's a place for you at Reign.
