FAQs

What are the different programs offered by Reign?

Reign Girls Softball provides a comprehensive academy program designed for various ages and skill levels. We offer four 8-week Softball Academies throughout the year, recommended for all athletes starting at the 8U level to build a strong foundation. For those ready for more competitive play, we have two levels of club teams: Silver teams (12U and up) that compete in local club tournaments, and Gold teams (12U and up) for players prepared for travel and advanced tournaments.

What age groups and skill levels do you cater to?

Our programs are designed for girls who would participate in the 8U division and above. To ensure every athlete develops a solid understanding of fundamental skills and our team philosophy, we recommend that all players, from beginners to those with some experience, start in our academy program.

What's the difference between a softball academy and a softball recreational league?

Reign Girls Softball Academy is a training program designed to build strong softball players with a focus on skill development and preparation for more competitive play, while a recreational league primarily offers an opportunity to play the game for fun and community involvement. At Reign Girls Softball, we see ourselves as a valuable resource for the softball community, not a replacement for recreational leagues. We understand the importance of introductory play and community involvement that recreational leagues provide. If you need help selecting a recreational league that would be a good fit for your athlete, please don't hesitate to reach out. We would be happy to provide some recommendations within the Las Vegas area.

What is the cost for my athlete to participate in the Academy or Competitive Teams?

Reign Girls Softball is committed to providing opportunities for athletes at various levels. While our more comprehensive programs, such as our Softball Academy and club teams, do have associated fees that reflect the professional coaching, structured curriculum, and competitive experiences they offer, we also believe in providing accessible ways for girls to engage with the sport and get a workout in.

We are committed in offering a number of free opportunities for athletes to participate and experience what Reign is all about.
