FAQs
What does Reign offer?
Reign Girls Softball Academy is designed to help athletes at every stage of their softball journey grow in skill, confidence, and love for the game. We proudly offer year-round academies that serve players from beginners just stepping onto the field to advanced athletes competing at a higher level.
Beginner Academy – For athletes with one year or less of experience in recreational ball. Our focus is on building a strong foundation by teaching the fundamentals of softball in a fun, supportive environment.
Intermediate Academy – For players who are currently in recreational ball but not yet ready for competitive play. Here, we strengthen fundamentals while introducing the skills and game knowledge needed to make the leap to the next level.
Advanced Academy – For competitive athletes who are already playing at an advanced level. Our coaches emphasize mechanics, skill refinement, and advanced strategies, helping players elevate their performance and reach their full potential.
Junior Coaching Program – At Reign, leadership is just as important as athletic ability. Through our Junior Coaching Program, athletes have the opportunity to mentor younger divisions, develop leadership skills, and gain valuable experience both on and off the field.
What age groups and skill levels do you cater to?
Our programs are designed for girls who would participate in the 6U division and above. To ensure every athlete develops a solid understanding of fundamental skills and our team philosophy, we recommend that all players, from beginners to those with some experience, start in our academy program.
What's the difference between a softball academy and a softball recreational league?
Reign Girls Softball Academy is a training program designed to build strong softball players with a focus on skill development and preparation for more competitive play, while a recreational league primarily offers an opportunity to play the game for fun and community involvement. At Reign Girls Softball, we see ourselves as a valuable resource for the softball community, not a replacement for recreational leagues. We understand the importance of introductory play and community involvement that recreational leagues provide. If you need help selecting a recreational league that would be a good fit for your athlete, please don't hesitate to reach out. We would be happy to provide some recommendations within the Las Vegas area.
What is the cost for my athlete to participate in the Academy or Competitive Teams?
Our academy sessions are designed to be both affordable and accessible for families. Athletes may choose to register for individual sessions or enroll in a full academy program for the season. This flexibility allows families to select the option that works best for their schedule and budget.
